Lay each wedge on a sheet of aluminum foil large enough to wrap it up in. Step 2 place cabbage on a large sheet of aluminum foil. Spread cut sides with butter. Cut cabbage into four wedges. Pull off sheets of aluminum foil for each wedge large enough to wrap them.
Wrap a bacon strip around each wedge. Top with onion slices bell pepper slices garlic black pepper and butter. Place on a double thickness of heavy duty foil about 24x12 in. Tear off 4 pieces of foil that are long enough to cover each wedge of cabbage 1 to 2 feet depending on the size of the cabbage. Place a teaspoon of butter on each cabbage wedge.
Remove the tough outer leaves of the cabbage. Fold foil around cabbage sealing. Spread cut sides with butter. Mix spices together in a small container and sprinkle all of the mixture equally over each wedge. Arrange the cabbage wedges into the bottom of a large metal baking dish.

Spoon about 2 tbsp of the marinade on top making sure to get it in all the nooks and crannies. Preheat a grill to medium high heat 375 to 450 degrees fahrenheit. Directions cut cabbage into four wedges. Cook until cabbage is tender about 30 minutes. Cut it into 8 wedges or more if the cabbage is large leaving the stem intact.

I say 20 30 becuase they will continue to cook once you pull them out and i like mine still crunchy. Ingredients 4 teaspoons butter softened 1 head cabbage cored and quartered 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese teaspoon salt teaspoon garlic powder teaspoon ground black pepper 4 slices bacon heavy aluminum foil. Sprinkle with salt garlic powder pepper and parmesan cheese. Place the wedges on a baking sheet. Pour the water into the dish.
